Housed in a former medieval watchtower, the generously proportioned duplex Macaron suite reveals the full character of this historic site, with a subtle blend of authentic pieces and meticulous details. It is ideal for a couple with one or two children, or a second couple.

The private first floor features a living room with a magnificent beamed ceiling and charming floor tiles. This room features a large convertible sofa with a high-density mattress, surrounded by wooden cupboards. The living room also includes an elegant desk for professional stays.

A solid oak staircase leads to the master bedroom, with a cosy reading corner. Just look up to admire the attractive modern lighting fixtures. The bathroom, entirely in Corian with shower and rain shower, will surprise you with its ceiling. The king-size bed promises a soft, pleasant night’s sleep in Garnier-Thiébaut linens. The small original loopholes let the sunrise rays filter through. But the real pleasure is waking up above the park overlooking the window.

Bonus: a terrace lets you take full advantage of the flower-filled estate, with a view of the weeping beech, listed as one of Meuse’s remarkable trees.
