A comfortable cottage for a successful vacation
Enter the soft, sweet world of this vacation cottage, set in a building dating back to the 13th century. The charm of the ancient fortress blends with the warm atmosphere of this vacation rental.
The private entrance plunges you into a large, bright living room, ideal for spending quality time with family and friends.
On the first floor, you’ll find a cosy living room and a dining room with high ceilings. The kitchen, open to the main room, is fully equipped (induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, cookware and utensils, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer).
French windows open directly onto a large private outdoor terrace, where you can enjoy an aperitif, lunch or simply relax. The wooden staircase leads to 2 upstairs bedrooms, a separate toilet and a bathroom with a lovely walk-in shower.
The quiet, elegant master bedroom offers a cosy corner for relaxing, and a queen-size bed for falling into the arms of Morpheus. The second bedroom has 2 comfortable single beds or a queen-size bed. Garnier-Thiébaut bed linen and towels are provided.
Outside, take a stroll in the large flower-filled park, admire nature and meet the animals that call the Maison Forte home: dogs, cats, chickens, birds, squirrels…
Children can play in this 6,000 m² area while parents watch over them in the shade of the weeping beech (listed as one of Meuse’s remarkable trees).

What candy inspired the world of this room?
It’s the pink cookie from Reims! This Champagne culinary speciality, whose origins date back to the 13th century, owes its pink hue to carmine, a natural red dye added to the recipe. Originating in Reims, the Biscuit rose is certainly one of the best-known local specialties, after champagne.
