Serenity and pleasure

Bathed in natural light, this magnificent duplex master suite offers a cosy nest for the whole family. In this cocoon, the eyes marvel at the sublime cathedral ceiling, exposed beams and authentic oeil-de-bœuf.

Direct, private access from outside opens onto a cosy living room, with a relaxing reading area overlooking the garden. The bathroom is bright and airy, with a lovely walk-in shower.

Upstairs, happiness continues with a large master bedroom featuring a queen-size bed. Garnier-Thiébaut bed linen ensures a pleasant night’s sleep. The oeil-de-bœuf light makes it easy to wake up to the light of day.

Your children will sleep soundly on a large convertible sofa with a high-density mattress.

Plus: you’ll enjoy an outdoor terrace to take full advantage of the park’s verdant setting, with a view of the weeping beech, listed as one of Meuse’s remarkable trees.

What candy inspired the world of this room?

Bergamot was our inspiration for this master suite. As early as the 19th century, confectioners in Nancy made this slightly tart, square, flat, translucent, golden candy, scented with bergamot essential oil, their specialty.

The citrus fruit was known thanks to René II de Lorraine, Duke of Lorraine in 1473, Duke of Bar in 1480 and also King of Sicily. The island’s climate is ideal for growing bergamot trees. Throughout the Middle Ages, bergamots were brought from Italy by pilgrims on their way to the basilica of Saint-Nicolas-de-Port, near Nancy.

As you enter, you’ll find a courtesy tray with a kettle, mugs, bottled water and homemade herbal teas.
