Room & Estate

Is La Maison Forte suitable for children?

Yes, children are welcome at La Maison Forte. We have 2 family guest rooms (Bergamote and Macaron) and the gîte.

The outdoor area is large enough for children to play outside in the private grounds of the Maison Forte, under their parents’ supervision. Board games are also available.

We provide equipment for the little ones, such as highchairs and changing tables (by prior request only and in limited quantities).

Do you have parking?

Yes, the parking lot is within the enclosed grounds of the Maison Forte. It is private, secure and free of charge.

Parking is available for light vehicles. Larger vehicles are allowed, but only if they do not impede parking for other guests.

Can I use the wellness area (sauna and Norwegian bath)?

Of course! Access to the wellness area is available to all guests staying at La Maison Forte.

A fee of €10 per person will be charged. However, please book your relaxation time with Céline in advance, so that we can start your session according to the weather and ensure availability for all.
Bathrobes and towels are provided, in a different color from your towels, so as not to mix usage.

For reasons of hygiene, food and drink are strictly forbidden in the Wellness area.

Are pets allowed?

We already have lots of animals: 2 large dogs (Rio and Zeus) who guard the property, a cat, chickens and all the birds in the surrounding countryside.

Dogs are welcome on prior request. Not all rooms are pet-friendly (Nonnette only for small dogs, Bergamotte only if maximum 3 people). A fee of €15 per dog per stay will be charged.

Pets are not allowed on beds or armchairs: they must sleep on the floor or in the bed brought by their master.

To avoid territorial conflicts, we ask you to keep your pets on a leash at all times, and not to bring them into communal areas (terrace, dining room, wellness area, vaulted cellar…).

Cats and other animals are not accepted.
